What a show! Everyone who matters was there, Google, IBM, Lenovo, Samsung, T-mobile, Konica-Minolta and many others. The gathering was divided into several categories: Big Data & Cloud, Digital Transformation, Internet of Things, Mobile, Security, Social Business and Start-ups. Nowadays, CeBIT is not just consumer oriented. This year Gauss Development was present for the first time. The hall was full of startups with interesting ideas. Although Gauss is not a start up, it was nice to be around young people with fresh ideas which could one day change the world.
This year partner country was China. A large hall was full of Chinese companies – as if eBay stepped out of the virtual world into the real one. Copycats and cheap products are everywhere. More serious Chinese companies like Alibaba or Huawei were present in other halls. They have a different approach to business than most companies from their country. Looks like the Chinese will soon dominate the world of technology. Get ready to learn Chinese!
As for Gauss, this was an interesting experience. The gathering was a good opportunity to see where we stand with our products. We took the opportunity to learn more about newest technologies and new business opportunities. Large international banks, Japanese companies from the chemical sector and a few German companies were interested in our products and cooperation. Gauss is currently cooperating with clients from Germany, Switzerland, Russia, UK and the USA. We hope to expand our business to foreign markets even further.
